BINGHAM-KENNEDY MEETING IN NEW YORK IS RUMORED

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Rumors to the effect that W. J. Bingham '16, director of athletics, was scheduled to meet Dr. Charles W. Kennedy, chairman of the Princeton board of athletic control, in New York could not be substantiated last night. It is known that Mr. Bingham was in New York yesterday and planned to return-to Cambridge on the midnight train.

Although it could not be determined authentically, it is believed that Dr. Kennedy was also in New York on a speaking trip. It is not likely that any formal action will result in the event that the two athletic leaders met. At the time of the last definite news announcements, merely an informal agreement of the willingness of the two men to meet at some unnamed date had been established.
