HARVARD SQUASH TEAMS START SEASON POORLY

The University and Freshman Squash teams started their respective seasons Saturday by playing opponents in the Massachusetts Squash Racquets League. The only team to win was the University Class C team, which defeated the Harvard Club team C three to two. The University A Whites did not play. Next Saturday the University B team meets the Union Boat Club B team and the C team plays the Weston Golf Club C team, both matches to be played at the Linden Street Courts, while the Freshman C team plays the Harvard Club C team at the Harvard Club. The 1935 team D players succumbed to the devices of a crafty Medical School five which beat the Harvard first year men handily four to one. Saturday's results.

The University A Reds were defeated by the Harvard Club Reds at the University Courts, 4 to 1: Captain A. W. Patterson '32 defeated A. C. Ingraham (H.C.), 15-12, 15-16, 15-8, 5-15, 15-7; H. C. Stewart (H.C.) defeated D. M. Frame '32, 15-12, 17-18, 15-12, 12-15, 15-12; H. C. Carpenter (H.C.) defeated G. H. Hartford '34, 15-11, 15-7, 15-13; R. B. Merriman (H.C.) defeated J. G. Cornish '33. 15-4, 15-13, 13-15, 6-15, 15-10; W. Hardy (H.C.) defeated H. V. Blaxter '33.

The Class B team was defeated by the Harvard Club B team at the Harvard Club, 3 to 2: G. R. Clark '32 defeated Wolfman (H.C.) 15-13, 15-10, 6-15, 18-15; L. A. Breek '84, defeated Fish (H.C.) 17-14, 17-14, 12-15, 15-12; Tuttlo (H. C.) defeated J. B. Wlaker '33, 15-11, 15-14, 8-15, 13-15, 15-13; Devens (H. C.) defeated J. W.
