Beginning with a matinee performance on Wednesday of "L'Amour Veille" Harvard's Cercle Francais will give its annual play in French at the Elizabeth Peabody Theatre at 357 Charles Street, Boston. The players will present this French comedy also on Wednesday evening and on Thursday evening.

Choice of Play

The light and fantastical piece by DeCaillevet and DeFlers, picked for the club by Andre Morize, Professor of French literature in the University, has met with great success in France.

The play earned for its authors the election to the French Academy and ran for a successful period this fall at the Comedic Francaise in Paris. It deals with the Intrigues of Parisian society, and the reactions of a young woman to the deceptions of her Parisian husband. The most comical character is the Curate, lost in the meshes of this society where in he is constantly being shocked. The prices of admission are $3, $2, and $.75, with a reduction in prices for school children when in groups of more than five.
