"LE MILLION" APPEARS AT FOUR PERFORMANCES

BEST AVAILABLE FILMS WILL BE SHOWN DURING WINTER

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

"Le Million," first of a series of French talking films to be shown during the winter at the Harvard School of Geography, originally scheduled to be shown tonight at 8.15 o'clock, and tomorrow at 4.30 o'clock and 8.15 o'clock, will also be shown tomorrow evening at 6.15 o'clock, it was learned yesterday. The additional showing of the film is being done due to the great demand for tickets. Admission to this extra performance tomorrow night at 6.15 o'clock will be by free tickets obtainable at the door.

Rene Clair, director of the film "Le Million," also supervised the production of "Sous les Toits de Paris," and is noted for his subordination of dialogue to pantomine. The plot of the film is chiefly that of a lost lottery ticket and of the frantic efforts to recover it.

First of a series of French films to be shown in Cambridge this winter under the auspices of several Cambridge and Boston sponsors, this initial film will be followed by others to be selected by M. A. Francon, instructor in French, who will announce the selections for future showings at a later date. J. A. Haeseler '23 of the Film Foundation yesterday stated that every effort will be made to obtain the best available French films in the United States, both in regard to dramatic excellence, and to representation of French language and customs.
