DARTMOUTH BANNER SEEN ON LAMPOON FLAGSTAFF

A report later proved to be true reached the CRIMSON building late last night to the effect that a huge 15 by 30-foot green Dartmouth banner bearing a large white "D" had been placed by unknown persons on the flagstaff of the Lampoon building.

The banner when inspected by passersby seemed to be of similar dimensions to the one that waved on the East Tower of the Stadium last Saturday. Whether or not the regular Dartmouth banner which was used on Saturday actually has disappeared from the hands of the proper authorities could not be determined last night.
