In the second day of the first annual fall rowing regatta staged yesterday, H. H. Proctor 3L took the junior singles race from F. C. Bell '33, winner of the novice singles event the day before. The race was closely contested over a three-quarter mile upstream course, ending at the Weeks Bridge. All seven entries were within three boat lengths of each other at the finish.
The senior singles will race today over a down-stream course and, unlike the preceding ones, this event will be open to anyone. Several entries are expected from the Union Boat Club of Boston.
