An excellent opportunity for inexperienced upperclassmen to learn how to row, especially these looking forward to participation in the inter-house rowing in the spring, will be available when winter practice starts today in the tank at Nowell Boathouse. Coach E. J. Brown will offer personal supervision every day from 11 to 1 o'clock except on Saturdays, until December 18 and will continue again from January 4 until the beginning of the mid-year period. The tank is reserved for Freshman use after 1 o'clock in the afternoon. The first year men, under the leadership of Coaches C. J. Whiteside and Hert Haines, have been using it for a week.
