Harvard Still On Track To Reach Fossil Fuel-Neutral Status by 2026, Sustainability Report Finds
In an appeal to those attending the game this afternoon, W. B. Wood, Jr. '32, president of the Harvard Student Council, announced last night, "It is the sincere desire of 'the Student Council that everyone present at the Harvard-Yale game will cooperate in contributing to the final drive for relief of the unemployed.
"The Harvard portion of the collections held at the Dartmouth and Holy Cross games, an amount of a little over $6,000, has been most gratefully received. Even as the contributions have increased, so the need has increased with the coming of winter. Conditions call for generosity and self-sacrifice.
"Every contribution will help in this national war against hardship."
The same arrangements which were used last week will be used today to make the collection.
