With fall crew at an end last Friday, winter rowing began at the Newell Boathouse yesterday afternoon when 125 Freshmen reported for short workouts on the machines.
Coach Bert Haines and A. N. Webster '31 will have charge of the machine work this season, which lasts until shortly after mid-years, while Coach Whiteside will take charge of those men who are advanced enough to row in the tank.
Commencing on Monday, November 30 until Friday, December 18. Coach Ed Brown will give individual instruction from 11 to 1 o'clock to men who intend to row on house crews next spring.
