HOUSE HARRIERS MEET ON SOLDIERS FIELD CINDERS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Soldiers Field will be the scene of the first inter-House cross country meet when harriers from the seven units race over a mile and a half course this afternoon. Entries have been received from all the Houses and additional men may register at Dillon Field House until ten minutes before the start of the race at 3.20 o'clock.

All members of the Houses are eligible with the exception of those who have won a letter in cross country or in distance track events either here or at another college. The various House teams will be based on the first five runners of each team to cross the line. Medals will also be awarded to winners of the first five places in the meet. Average time for the course is slightly under ten minutes.
