Record, heavy Crimson left end, will be out of the New Hampshire game with a bruised muscle. This was the most important development of yesterday's workout, a late practice which found a large number of players absent either at labs or exams. The Harvard wingman should be in condition again for the Army game two weeks hence.
The usual fundamental drill and dummy scrimmage took place yesterday, no real scrimmage occurring. Moushegian, Schereschewsky, and White reported at 4.45 o'clock and ran through signals for 15 minutes, neither Crickard nor Hardy appeared on the field at all, while Talbot, Bennett, Myerson, and Faxon showed up in togs but had only a very light workout. Cunningham was on the field in street clothes.
Today's light practice was partly due to yesterday's hard workout. Tomorrow will probably find the Crimson squad going through a considerably harder session. Nearly the whole squad is expected to show up. Freshman and 150-pound squads both went through a series of scrimmages yesterday, and cuts will probably be made on both in the near future. Coach R. F. Bond '13 is working hard to get his 1935 aggregation into some sort of shape for their opening clash against Andover this Saturday.
