YALE AUTHORITIES SILENT ON PROPOSED CHARITY GAME

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

New Haven, Conn., Oct. 6--Yale University athletic authorities had not rendered any decision tonight on the proposed game for the benefit of the New Haven unemployed to be played in the Yale Bowl on some convenient date this fall. The Yale News, which proposed the game, expects action "sometime within 48 hours."

The News suggested the game be played either on the open Saturday, November 14, or a date after the close of the season. Editors of the News expressed preference for the latter date, as a game played on November 14, one week before the Harvard game, would jeopardize the Eli's chances for breaking Harvard's winning streak.
