With the opening of squash, basketball, swimming, wrestling, boxing, track, and indoor baseball, the winter season in Freshman athletics will begin on Monday. Fencing and handball, which have been going on since the beginning of the year, round out the list of sports in which the Freshmen can engage between now and the end of the season next spring.
Under a new arrangement, tennis and rowing will not be discontinued at once, but will keep on as long as weather permits. Men who are at present taking part in one of these sports may either change now or continue where they are until show and ice drive them indoors.
