KOPANS, TACKLE ON ELEVEN, MAY PUT SHOT IN OLYMPIAD

D. E. Kopans '34, regular University tackle, may compete for the United States in the shot put at the Jewish Olympiad, which taken place at Tel-Aviv, Palestine, next March.

Trials for this section of the country were held recently at Caledonian Grove in West Roxbury, and Kopans was one of the two selected to compete in the final Maccabee tryouts, which will be held in the Madison Square Garden in New York next January. In addition to Kopans, R. J. Boche '31 will run in the middle distance events.
