ELEVEN AIMS AT SPEED IN DUMMY SCRIMMAGE

TEXAS PLAYERS ON WAY, WILL BE QUARTERED IN BELMONT

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A brisk practice session marked one more day off the football calendar yesterday at Soldiers Field as Casey kept his men on the march. Fundamentals took up part of the afternoon's drill, the squads being put through a snappy brushing up on all the elementals, the aim being to keep the Harvard cogs clicking in the same way that they have been in the past three games.

Following the fundamentals drill Teams A and B ran through an hour's dummy scrimmage, after which the first string team went through a signal drill, while the Team B group took on the 1935 eleven in further scrimmaging. No scores were kept, emphasis being placed on assignment work and speed in getting the plays under way.

The Texas squad left the homeland this morning and are now en route for the game that has been attracting attention in the southwest for the past year and a half. The squad of Texans will stay at Belmont.

Harvard's squad at practice yesterday found a complete roster on hand for the drill, with the exception of Esterly, loss of whom to Harvard football for the remainder of the season was announced yesterday. Hallowell, center, was on the field in uniform, and it seems likely that he will play on Saturday. Myerson, in street clothes, watched the others work, and chances for him to play Saturday are considered fifty-fifty.

Team A at practice yesterday: Nazro, l.e.; Hardy, l.t.; Talbot, l.g.; Cunningham, c.; Bancroft, r.g.; Kopans, r.t.; Hageman, r.e.; Wood, q.b.; Crickard, l.h.b.; Schereschewsky, r.h.b.; White, f.b.

The Team B lineup: Record, l.e.; Faxon, l.t.; Healey, l.g.; Casey, c.; Ginman, r.g.; Kales, r.t.; Francisco, r.e.; Wells, q.b.; Mays, l.h.b.; Gleason, r.h.b.; Nevin, f.b.
