1933 ARMY GAME IS SIXTH ON SCHEDULE

The football schedule for 1933, staging for the Harvard team eight contests, all to be played in the Stadium, was made public last evening by officials at the H. A. A. There are two outstanding changes to be noted in the list of grid clashes as listed: the Holy Cross game, which for the past few years has occupied seventh place in the Harvard schedule, has been shifted to third place; the Army game, which for the past four years has been the third tilt on the list, is to be the sixth game on the 1933 schedule.

According to the list of grid clashes announced today, Bates and New Hampshire introduce the season. Then follow five games before the Yale clash. Of the five, Holy Cross, Army, Dartmouth, and Brown appear on next year's list. Lehigh, which played a game here four years ago, is to serve as a buffer between the Dartmouth and Army weekends.

All Games at Home in 1933

The reason for playing all the games at Cambridge in 1933 is that the Yale game is here, and that the H. A. A. authorities could not conveniently schedule any other game away. A rule now in effect limits the number of games to be played away from Cambridge to one each year.

Seven games have already been announced as composing the schedule for the fall of 1932. In this schedule two minor games start off the season, New Hampshire and Penn State being the first teams to be played. The midseason strip finds Dartmouth, Brown, and Army contests being staged on successive weekends. Then the Holy Cross game, as usual, to be played the weekend before that of the Yale game, at New Haven; the game with Yale is to be the only one away from Cambridge in 1932.

The 1933 football schedule, announced last night: October 7, Bates; October 14, New Hampshire; October 21, Holy Cross; October 28, Dartmouth; November 4, Lehigh; November 11, Army; November 18, Brown; and November 25, Yale.
