Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
Under the direction of Coach Robert Pool, of St. Johns College, Annapolis, the University lacrosse team hold its first outdoor practice yesterday afternoon, in the field back of the baseball diamond. The practice was light, consisting chiefly of drill in the use of the stick.
Manager R. G. Saider '32 stated that the fall practice lasts for about four weeks. It aims to train the men in stick work and other fundamentals of the game, so that in the spring, when the heavy work begins, most of the time can be put on the perfecting of various plays. Lacrosse is an ideal game for the inexperienced man. Since it is not played in most preparatory schools, every man has the same chance of making the team. Freshmen and candidates for the University team practice together in the fall; practice games are arranged in which each man is given a chance to participate.
For those men who fail to make the University team, there is a good chance of getting on the Junior University or Jay Vee teams. Freshmen may count this sport to satisfy their Physical Education requirements, and, if they make the team, get their numerals.
The schedule which the players face next spring is as follows:
April 1, M. I. T. at M. I. T.; April 16, open; April 23, Pennsylvania; April 30, Dartmouth at Hanover; May 7, Williams; May 11, Brown at Providence; May 14, Navy at Annapolis; and May 21, Yale.
