Following extensive alterations, the University squash courts building is now open for the season. With the advent of squash courts in the Hemenway and the old Freshman gymnasiums, 14 out of the 20 Linden Street courts will henceforth be given over to the Freshmen and members of the graduate schools. New locker rooms have been put in a basement that was excavated under the main building. The remaining six courts, those in the annex, along with the old locker and shower rooms, will be assigned to Adams House, comprising its share of athletic equipment.

At the close of the tennis season in November, Freshmen will have the preference in the use of the courts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons. At present they are open to anyone in the University.

Commencing Friday, and continuing until further notice, the 14 University squash courts may be reserved a day in advance of use. The reservation sheet will be posted at 1 o'clock at the squash court office. The courts will be open from 9 until 6 o'clock.
