Battling on even terms, the Harvard Jayvee and Brown Freshman football teams played to a scoreless tie on the Second University field yesterday afternoon. Neither team threatened to score until the last quarter, when the Jayvee team launched on a determined 50-yard offensive march only to lose the pigskin on a fumble a few yards in front of Brown's goal line. The most outstanding gain of the contest was Beale's long pass to De Give in the final quarter.
