PIERIAN SODALITY TO START YEAR TONIGHT

Opens Season with Meeing in Paine Hall at 7.30 o'clock--Orchestra to Have Full Rehearsal

Commencing its 124th year, the Pierian Sodality of 1808 will open the season tonight with a full orchestra rehearsal at 7.30 o'clock in Paine Hall. The orchestra, which includes every instrument used in symphonic orchestration, consists of 30 to 35 men, and is conducted by G. Wallace Woodworth '24.

The first concert of the season for string orchestra only will be held at the Cantabrigia Club on Friday, November 20, and sometime in December the Pierian will give a joint concert with the Radcliffe Orchestra, after which there will be a dance.

The following men who have been recently accepted from the trials are: G. W. Pierce 2L, W. C. Thompson '32, G. B. Walker '33, J. L. Helmuth '34, G. K. Mateyo '34, Robert Rusch '34, L. M. Backus '35, R. R. Covell '35, B. B. Hill '35, P. B. Kenyon '35, R. M. Leightun '35, F. B. Tunnell '35, O. A. Lemke '35.
