On Monday, April 21, and Tuesday, April 22, approximately 100 members of the Harvard Glee Club will sing the chorus parts in Stravinski's "Oedipus Rex", which will be staged in New York City at that time. A tentative list of 60 names of those who will go down has been drawn up, and the persons notified. The Club has been rehearsing all fall, while letters from Stravinski have intimated that he will himself attend the rehearsals toward the end of February.
The Club schedule for the immediate future includes a concert at Milton on the evening of Friday. February 20. On Tuesday afternoon and evening. February 24, the Club will join with the Radcliffe Choral Society, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra, in the Bach Festival. Bach's "Mass in B. Minor" will be sung. The following Thursday the three musical groups will render the composer's "Magnificat" followed by the "Mass" on Sunday, March 1.
