ARTICLE IN HARKNESS HOOT DERIDES HARVARD CULTURE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In the current number of the Harkness Hoot, which appeared yesterday at Yale, Harvard's culture is attacked in an article entitled, "The Cultural Stato of Harvard" written by a member of the University. The author says that only a few men come to Harvard for culture. "The great number are here because of the social obligation and because they'll get better Jobs," he declares. "If you want to be cultured you stay for an M.A. If you want to push it to absurdity, you stay for a Ph.D."
