As a result of statistics gathered by the Harvard Athletic Association, it has been found that the 939 Harvard Freshmen forced to choose somo form of winter exercises in conformance with the requirements of Freshman physical training, have chosen the 14 available sports as follows: swimming 190, squash 162, special corrective exercises 138, crew 85, track 72, basketball 71, boxing 47, handball 42, fencing 38, wrestling 29, gymnasium 20, hiking 19, polo 7. The most marked change from similar statistics gathered a year ago is that in swimming which was then chosen by only 61.
