Three new Harvard records were made and two equalled as the University swimming team gained the third successive victory of its season in the pool of the Indoor Athletic Building Saturday night, defeating the Brown swimmers by the unexpectedly wide margin of 44 to 18.
In the 50-yard dash B.S. Wood '33 lowered his former record of 25 3-5 sec. by 2-5 sec., and equalled his 100-yard free-style mark of 54 1-5 sec. In both these races Wood defeated Captain Hall of Brown and Fell 1-5 sec. short of the National Collegiate A.A. record.
Coach Ulen's relay team covered the 200-yard course in 1 min., 39 3-5 sec., lowering the Harvard record by 3 sec. The Yale relay team, in an easy 57 to 14 Eli victory over Penn in New Haven the same night were clocked at 1 min., 41 sec. Butler, Eli star, was 2-5 sec. slower than Wood in the two shorter free style events.
W. S. deLima '31, newly-elected captain clipped seven seconds from his old record for the quarter mile free style swim to finish in 5 min., 20 3-5 sec. In the 200-yard breast stroke swim G. C. Larcom '33 equalled his mark of 2 min., 50 sec. made in the meet with M.I.T.

440-yard free style swim--Won by W.S. deLima '31; second, T.H. Jameson '33; third, Pearsall (B). Time--5 miny 20 3-5 sec. (New Harvard record.)
Diving--Won by Hawkinson (B), 60 points; second, R.G. Luckey '31, 54.6 points; third, J.P. Duane '32, 53.8 points.
150-yard back stroke swim--Won by White (B); second, W. J. McTigue '33; third. H. V. Atherton '32. Time--1 min., 48 4-5 sec.
200-yard breast stroke swim-Won by G.C. Larcom '33; second, H.C. Lehman '33; third, Butler (B). Time--2 min., 50 sec. (Equals Harvard record.)
100-yard free style swim--Won by B.W. Wood '33; second, Hall (B); third. W.S. deLima '31. Time--54 1-5 sec. (Equals Harvard record.)
