Freshmen Down Coburn 6 to O, Jayvees Beat Northeastern 2 to 1

The undefeated Freshman and Second Hockey teams added one more victory to their credit when they both won their games yesterday afternoon at the Boston Garden. The Freshmen defeated Coburn Classical Institute 6 to 0, while the Seconds downed the Northeastern University team 2 to 1.

J. T. Summers '34, right wing for the first year team scored the first goal in the opening game after 45 seconds of play. This was followed by goals by Nathaniel Ware '34 and R. H. Gallagher '34, closing the period with a score of 3 to 0. In the second period, the most closely fought period in the game, the Coburn Classical Institute sextet only allowed one goal by Gallagher to be scored against it. Benjamin Beale '34 and Ware starred in the third period, each scoring a goal to bring the final count to 6 to 0.

The Seconds and Northeastern proved to be more closely matched teams. At the end of the first period, the score was tied 1 to 1, and it was only toward the end of the second period that Captain C. E. McGregor '32 scored the winning point of the game.
