Under the expert leadership of Captain E. T. Gerry '31 the University polo team defeated the Westwood Country Club $1-2 to 5 Saturday night in the Common-wealth Armory. It was the opening game of the season for the Crimson team. In a preliminary game the Harvard Freshmen succeeded in downing the Cossacks by a score of 16 1-2 to 3 1-2.
