McILWAIN TO LECTURE AT YALE IN FIRST HALF-YEAR

New Haven, Conn., Sept 23--Charles Howard McIlwain, Eaton Professor of the Science of Government in Harvard University, has been appointed Harvard Lecturer for the first term of the academic year at Yale.

The Harvard Lectures were established at Yale in 1905 by an anonymous Harvard graduate to obtain members of the Harvard Faculty to give lectures at Yale. Professor McIlwain is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, and his book, "The American Revolution," won the Pulitzer prize in 1923.
