A BIGGER HARVARD

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Preliminary figures indicate that the Harvard enrolment this year is slightly above the high marks of past years. No startling trends are revealed, however, in the minor fluctuations of this fall's totals as compared, for instance, with those of last year.

The only noticeable falling-off in registration was reported at the Law School, where about fifty less students are enrolled than were last year at this time. Despite the raising of the requirements for entrance to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, this department of the University showed an increase of sixty-five, the largest of any school. The Business School continued its steady growth, with fifty eight more students enrolled that last year.

The College itself, with 3217 men thus far registered, is larger this year than ever. Last year's figure was 3165. No considerable significance can be attached to any of these changes. Harvard is still growing, and such projects as the house plan, which help to make the whole less wield by reorganizing its structure, may provide relief.
