ARMY POLO TEAM EASILY SUBDUES CRIMSON FOUR

LUTON TALLIES TWICE, NICHOLAS ONCE, IN FOURTH PERIOD

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Displaying a brand of teamwork which made their play almost unbeatable, the West Point riders Saturday downed the Harvard polo team to the tune of 13 to 3, on the field of the Myopia Hunt Club at Hamilton, before a large gathering.

The most exciting moment for the Crimson came in the fourth chukker, when W. F. Luton '32, playing No. 2, scored after four minutes of play; later he followed this up with another goal, and Captain H. I. Nicholas '31 scored the Crimson's final point in the same period. During this time, the Harvard team showed its best teamwork of the afternoon. The Army had, however, already secured a safe lead, and also counted three goals as the Crimson was doing its only scoring.

Army Has Little Difficulty

The Army four had little difficulty in holding Harvard scoreless throughout the first three chukkers. Wing, No. 1 for the visitors, was high scorer, with five goals to his credit. Captain Haskell, second in number of points, made four, and Beebe, playing at back, scored three. The game was one featured by good riding on both sides, and, despite its poor showing in the final result the Harvard team displayed ability which should make them a factor in the coming Intercollegiates, on June 14.
