RAIN PREVENTS MARINES FROM AVENGING EARLY LOSS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The baseball team of the Quantico Marines was prevented from taking revenge on the Crimson nine's early season victory of 8 to 2, when rain prevented the playing of the game scheduled for yesterday afternoon. Both teams were on the field ready to play when a hard shower came up that soaked the field and made play impossible. It was not possible to postpone the game because of the full schedule of the Marine team so it was definitely cancelled.

The Crimson's next tilt, the last before the beginning of the Yale series next Tuesday will take place at Medford on Saturday when the Tufts team will furnish the opposition for Harvard.
