TENNIS TEAMS CONCLUDE SEASON BY YALE MATCHES

HARVARD FAVORITE TO DEFEAT BLUE RIVALS

This afternoon, the three Harvard tennis teams will conclude their season with matches against Yale. The University and Second matches will take place at 1 o'clock on the Divinity Courts, while the 1933 teams will meet at New Haven.

The Harvard team will be slightly favored to win from the Blue, having defeated the Navy and New York University, both of which won, 5 to 4, from Yale. There is little basis for comparison of the two second teams. Yale defeated Princeton, 6 to 3, while the Crimson Seconds have played nine matches, inning six and losing three, to the Freshmen; Oakley Country Club, and Longwood Country Club.

The Crimson 1933 team should win from the Yale first year team, which has had a poor record. Winning from Andover, 9 to 0, it has lost to Penn freshmen and Roxbury, 8 to 1, and Princeton 1933, 5 to 4. Harvard has been undefeated in eight encounters.

Freshman and Second team lineups:

Harvard Seconds--No. 1, J. L. Ware 30; No. 2, G. S. Greene '31; No. 3, H. W. Cole '32; No. 4, L. B. Gilman '31; No. 5, F. O. Canfield '32; No. 6, F. B. Broida '32.

Yale Seconds--No. 1, Lorenzen; No. 2, Smythe; No. 3, Warner; No. 4, Rednor; No. 5, Eddy; No. 6, Patterson.

Yale 1933--No. 1, Mundy; No. 2, Hastings; No. 3, Hamilton; No. 4, Jackson; No. 5, Bossford; No. 6, Reese.
