Yesterday afternoon at the Rhode Island Country Club, the Harvard University golf team defeated Brown, 6 to 3. At the same time, the Harvard Freshmen were defeated by the Yale first year team, 8 to 1.
The Crimson won five out of six of the individual matches, while Brown took the first two foursomes. In the 1933 match, H. J. Bourneuf '33 was the only Harvard player to win his match.
