To the Editor of the CRIMSON:

I should like to call your attention to an in-accurate figure that was published in yesterday's CRIMSON, in the article on the "Indian Situation", regarding the proportion of Muslims to Hindus in India.

Since the Muslims number about seventy millions in a total population of 310 millions the proportion is about 1 to 3 instead of 1 to 10 as was stated by Professor Bapat. This should partly account for the fact that the Muslims demand one-third representation in the National Congress. G. H. Khan
