H. W. LAMB '30 WINS FRANCIS BOOTT PRIZE AND $100 AWARD

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Francis Boott Prize in musical composition was yesterday awarded to Hubert Weldon Lamb '80, of Concord. The prize carries with it a cash award of $100 which is drawn from the bequest of Francis Boott, of the class of 1831.

The stipulation for the prize is that the composition be written for four voices, in any language, and may be either sacred or secular. The compositions of Mozart and Cherubini are, however, suggested as patterns.
