At a meeting last night of the eight Junior members of Phi Beta Kappa, Arnold Louis Kowarsky '31, of Brooklyn, New York, was chosen secretary-treasurer from the Class of 1931. Custom makes the secretary-treasurer Marshal of the society in his Senior year.

Kowarsky, who prepared at the Boys' High School in Brooklyn, is a member of the University Band, of the Dramatic Club, and of the Debating Club.
