To the Editor of the CRIMSON:

Your editorial February 28th, regarding eighteenth amendment, and reprinted in State University of Iowa, "Dally Iowan" of March 5th, has a lot of meat in it.

Nicholas Murray Butier has been right all-along and it is to be hoped others may have as much courage and foresight, to bring this matter to a head.

Henry Ford does not count, if we are to base his judgment upon his peace conference plan and trip which was, as we all know, a decided farce. Very truly yours,   Robt. N. Carson.

Ex-President Iowa League of Commercial Clubs.

P. S. Let me add, Smith "Wildman" Brookhart might well be deported to Russia, and Iowa will be better off. Iowa City, Iowa.
