LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS SIMPLIFIED BY NEW RULE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

By a vote of the Faculty yesterday it was decided to accept Greek on the same basis as Latin as a means of meeting the language requirements for the degree of A.B. or S.B. This includes only the reading knowledge requirement.

At present the Latin requirement may be met by a special one-hour written examination, or by passing with a certain grade various courses given in College, and it is expected that these same standards will be applied to Greek.
