Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
With 20 points to its credit Delta Upsilon carried off the honors yesterday in the annual inter-fraternity swimming meet in the Big Tree Pool. Alpha Sigma Phi placed second with 18 points, Kappa Sigma followed with 16. The St. Paul's Catholic Club finished in fourth position with eight points, and Lambda Chi Alpha trailed with a score of one point.
The events were contested as follows;
50-yard free style--Won by T.F. McGuane Jr. '32; second, D.S. Greer 5E.S,; third, A.A. Campbell '30; fourth, H.M. Jones 1G.E. Time--28 3-5 seconds.
200-yard free style--Won by J.S. Hartwell '32; second, R.H. Armstrong '31; third, C.H. Parker '32. Time--Two minutes and 44 seconds.
Diving--Won by Hartwell; second, Greer; third, R.K. Vincent '32; fourth Armstrong.
100-yard back stroke--Won by Vincent; second, Armstrong; third, T.T. Howard 2G.B.; fourth, Parker. Time--One minute and 35 seconds.
50-yard breast stroke--Won by Campbell; second, S.H. Fuller '31; third, Parker. Time--44 seconds.
100-yard free style--Won by Hartwell; second, McGuane; third, Fuller; fourth, R.H. Watt '32. Time--One minute and nine seconds.
The relay was awarded to Delta Upsilon by default.
