Seventy-three Freshmen have entered in the Interdormitory swimming meet to be held today at 4 o'clock in the Big Tree Pool. Four fraternities, Alpha Sigma Phi, Alpha Mu Sigma, the Kex Club, and the St. Paul's Catholic Club, have signified their intention of competing in the interfraternity meet to be held at the same time tomorrow afternoon.
In both meets, the three men placing in each event will be eligible to compete in the University swimming meet which will take place in the new pool on April 1.
The events on both days will be the same, including the 50-yard, a 100-yard, and a 200-yard swim, as well as a 100-yard back stroke and 200-yard breast stroke contest. The diving will be judged on four required and four optional dives. The dormitory or fraternity whose entrants amass the largest number of points through placing in the various events will be awarded the meet. On each day there will be a 100-yard relay, four pick-up teams of four men on a side, with the winners slated to appear in the new pool on April 1.
