Countrary to the custom of recent years, the University crew squad will return to Cambridge for workouts during the spring vacation, according to an announcement made yesterday by Coach Whiteside. The three University crews will return on Tuesday, April 8 ready for afternoon practice and will workout daily on the Charles through Saturday, April 12.
The top squad, which was recently cut to twenty-six oarsmen and three coxswains is engaging in long training rows on the river every afternoon. Crew B which was hailed as the future first string crew when its was named at the beginning of the month is till the potential bearer of the Crimson hopes in intercollegiate contests later in the spring. Stroked by A.H. Parker Jr. '32, last year's Freshman pacesetter, in the absence of S.F. Colloredo-Mansfeld '32, of last year's Freshman eight, who is temporarily disabled, this crew contains the only two remaining first string oarsmen, Captain L.W. Dickey '30 and M.M. Johnson '31.

Crews A and C are battling on fairly even terms for the honor of the title of Jayvee crew.

Crew B--Stroke, Colloredo-Mansfeld (Parker): 7, Dickey: 6, Webster: 5, Johnson: 4, Grinnell: 3, Armstrong: 2, Swain: bow, Page: cox, Stebbins.
Crew C--Stroke, Watts: 7, Hollings-worth: 6, McKesson: 5, Buckely: 4, Rood: 3, Erickson: 2, Brownell: bow, Wintringham: cox, Becker.
