NEXT PLAY OF DRAMATIC CLUB MOLNAR'S "LILIOM"

MRS. P.B. DAVIDSON WILL DIRECT THE SHOW

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Announcement was made last night by an advisory committee of the Harvard Dramatic Club that Molnar's "Liliom" has been selected as the annual spring production of the organization. The committee which selected this play consisted of H.G. Meyer '30, R.R. Wallstein '32, and Frederick Thon '31. The play will be presented in Brattle Hall on the evenings of May 7, 8, 9, and in Boston on May 10.

At the same time the Executive Committee of the Club announced that Mrs. P.B. Davidson, of Cambridge, had been appointed to direct the production. Mrs. Davidson, who had a great deal of experience on the professional stage, is now engaged in coaching the present production of the Radcliffe Idler Club.

Tryouts on Tuesday

Those who desire to try out for parts in the new play may try out on Tuesday evening at 7.30 o'clock at a place which will be announced later.

In attempting to stage "Liliom" the Dramatic Club believes that it is undertaking one of its most ambitious projects of recent years. It is composed of a prologue and seven scenes, which, with a cast of 23 characters ranks it as one of the largest productions that the club has ever attempted.

The club's last undertaking was the production of A.A. Milne's comedy, "Success".
