Using three complete teams and every man on the squad, the Harvard Freshman basketball team last night overwhelmed the quintet from the First Division Naval Reserve by the score of 56 to 12 in Remenway Gymnasium.
In the first period the Freshmen displayed the best offence of the season and rolled up 38 points, against a lone goal scored by the Reserve. Captain C. H. Hageman '33. W. A. Schroeder, Jr. '33 and R. L. Kimbrough '33 led the attack.
The lineup in the second half was shifted and frequent substitutions made, but the Freshmen nevertheless continued to outclass their opponents, who scored but 10 points. Of the ten Reserve players used, only four were able to score from the floor
