PIERIAN SODALITY CONCERT IN BRATTLE HALL THURSDAY

To Present Popular Program in First Performance of Year

A concert will be given by the Pierian. Sodality Orchestra, conducted by G. W. Woodworth '24, on Thursday evening at 8.30 o'clock in Brattle Hall.

The program will include an Overture to the Ode of Saint Cecilia's Day by Handel, Variations for Strings by Byrd, and Milhaud's "Saudades do Brazil," a suite of dances. Following these will be a group of Slavonic Dances, Opus 46, Numbers 2 and 3, of Dvorak, and Haydn's Symphony Number 2 in D Major.

After the program, the floor will be cleared for dancing until 1 o'clock. Dance music will be furnished by an orchestra conducted by F. L. Anderson 1G, conductor of the Harvard Band, and a member of Roy Lamson's Harvardians.

Tickets are now on sale at Amee Brothers' Book Store, 21 Brattle Street and at 56 Thayer Hall.
