Crimson Wins Seven Out of Nine Bouts in the Foils--Shares Honors With Visitors in Epee Matches

The University won its fencing match with Bowdoin Saturday, 9 to 4. when H. B. Wesselman '31 won all of his foil matches. H. C. Cassidy '31, and J. D. Allen '31 each took over two of their three competitions also.

The visitors were unable to top Harvard in the epee matches, Altenburg and Fleck tying J. J. Mackin '32, and F. C. Fiechter '32, of Harvard.

Foils: Wesselman defeated Altenburg (B), 5-4, Fleck (B), 5-0, and Macdonald (B), 5-0, Cassidy defeated Fleck (B), 5-2, Macdonald (B), 5-0, and lost to Altenburg (B), 3-5. Allen defeated Fleck (B), 5-0, Macdonald (B), 5-2, and lost to Altenburg (B), 4-5.

Epee: Fiechter defeated Altenburg (B), 1-0. Mackin defeated Fleck (B), 1-0, and lost to Altenburg (B), 0-1. Moran lost to Fleck (B), 0-1.
