Three years ago Harvard won the first championship and last year placed third. With both men entered in the singles and pairing in the doubles the University will again have a full representation.

The singles winner will have his name permanently inscribed on the Larned cup, also receiving a solid silver minature. Cups are to be given to the winners and runners-up in the doubles.
