N. P. HALLOWELL '32 TO LEAD 1931 CROSS COUNTRY TEAM

Norwood Penrose Hallowell, Jr. '32, of Readville, has been elected captain of the 1931 University cross country team. Hallowell, who is twenty years old, prepared at Milton. He won, Freshman numerals in 1928 and the major "H" in 1929 and 1930.

In his Freshman year, Hallowell was the Secretary-Treasurer of his Class. He was also on the relay team, the Executive Board, and a member of the Glee Club. He is a member of the Student Council for the year 1930-31.

The captain-elect has consistently lead the Harvard harriers for two years; he placed sixteenth in the Intercollegiates last year, and seventh this fall.
