NEW ENGLAND TOUCH FOOTBALL TITLE TO BE CONTESTED TODAY

Sigma Alpha Mu Team Will Meet Phi Delta Theta, Champions of Brown

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity, intra-fraternity touch football champions of Harvard this year, will meet the Phi Delta Theta fraternity, intra-fraternity champions of Brown University this year, for the mythical touch-football championship of New England. The game will be played on Soldiers Field, at 2.30 o'clock, this afternoon.

Good Game Expected

The game has evidence of being keenly contested, since both teams have proven themselves of championship calibre. Sigma Alpha Mu has consistently shown strong teams, having won the University championship in 1928, the intra-fraternity championship in 1929, and have again captured that title this year.

Members of the Sigma Alpha Mu squad are: Arthur Bloom '31, Milton Jacobson '31, A. I. Kowarsky '31, J. A. Marcu '31, R.I. Nitkin '31, I. R. Rose '31, M. H. Silton '31, and J. A. Smith '31. Edmund Dorfman '33 and P. S. Barrabee '33, new additions to the team, did fine work all season, their speed proving to be a valuable asset.
