PROFESSOR FOLIN AWARDED SCHEELE MEDAL IN SWEDEN

Dr. Otto K. O. Folin, Hamilton Kuhn Professor of Biological Chemistry at Harvard, recently received the Scheele Medal of the Chemical Society of Stockholm. He is the first recipient of that medal.

Announcement of its award was made at the dedication of the building of the Rockefeller Institute for Biochemistry in Stockholm.

Dr. Folin is one of the most prominent biochemists of America and has rendered particularly valuable service in his studies in the chemistry of the blood.
