Theodore Chase '34, of Concord, was appointed editor-in-chief of the Freshman Red Book, yesterday afternoon, at a meeting of the temporary executive council on Freshman affairs, headed by W. B. Wood '32, chairman of the Student Council Committee on Freshman Affairs.

The other officers on the Red Book Board, according to yesterday's announcement, are: Chairman of the Editorial Board, R. M. Gummere '34; Chairman of the Business Board, R. G. Ames '34; Chairman of the Arts and Cuts Board, Theodore Rousseau '34; Chairman of the Photographic Board, E. P. Davis '34; and Associate Editor, A. C. Dearing, Jr. '34.

Prepared at Groton

Chase prepared at Groton School where he was the editor-in-chief of the "Grotonian". He is expected to take over the duties of his office immediately, in preparation for a competition for the remaining positions on the Red Book Board, which will start in January. At a meeting to be held in the near future the new editors will meet to choose the students who will aid them in the publication of the Red Book.
