Current Plays

Colonial at 8:10. "Show Boat". Last week and a half of Ziegfeld's glorification of Edna Ferber.

Plymouth at 8:10--"Jenny". Jane Cowl and a good cast go talky-talky, and continue far into the night.

Copley at 8:30--"The Man Who Changed His Name". Another Edgar Wallace and supposed to be a variation from his usual run for plays.

Coming Attractions

Wilbur, next Monday -- "Boom Boom". A typical summer musical comedy, with Frank Mcintyre.

Motion Pictures

Metropolitan--"The Man I love", Mary Brian and Richard Arlen in just another talkie.

Loew's State--"The Pagan". A fairly good picture, chiefly notable as presenting Ramon Novarro in a singing role.

Olympia and Fenway--"The Cocoanuts". The Four Marx Brothers bring their hilarity to the screen and put it over.

Loew's Orpheum--"Alibi". A thoroughly good crook melodrama.
